Mom invited my friend from High School, Meredith, to join us for brunch on my birthday. Emma and her daughter, Marla, really hit it off and had great time together.

- I am a working mom who has often wished I could be a baker instead. The whole time I've wished that wish, I've been a baking fool in my own kitchen. Thankfully, I attended a retreat where the keynote speaker instructed everyone to chat with someone new and ask not 'What do you do?' but 'What do you love to do?'... That's when I realized that I am a baker! And now I have a place to dish a little about what goes on in my kitchen, and life in general...
